I was born and raised in Hartford, Ct. I truly enjoy all the wonders of the Oregon Coast and my favorite things to do are Elk and Deer Hunting, Salmon & Steelhead fishing, Crabbing, Clamming, Mushroom Picking, kayaking,and taking long walks on the beach. The most important reason I moved to the coast is "Quality of Life". Yachats has a population of 635, no stoplights, probably the cleanest air anywhere, the Pacific Ocean, mountains, lush forests and the Pristine Yachats River all in one location. | |
